Making Money Online – the Truth you Don’t Like to Hear

Making Money Online: The truth
If the internet were a fruit-bearing tree, it would undoubtedly be adorned with thorns. Most motivators tell you that making money online is straight and enjoyable, like a movie where there is cash raining from the skies, falling on you as you sip wine on the beach in Miami. Sounds attractive, right?
What is the reality?
The exact opposite of the above statement. I have been walking on the streets of online hustle for 5 years, and it feels like a garden of cactus plants. In fact, some days are more like the face of a doctor with wrinkles, ready to give you bad news about your patient in the ward.
Scammers
My first day I googled “making money online,” I saw nice pictures of laptops on beach tables with cash splashed on top of them. This may seem like a promising opportunity, but the reality is that the game is rigged. The disheartening reality is that while the loudest individuals on the internet have empty bank accounts, real achievers are quietly sipping coffee, not interfering with others’ affairs, and earning six figures. The problem is that research leads us to the noisemakers and not the latter. Be wise!
There is the problem of the “fear of missing out,” commonly referred to online as FOMO. This is where you have bad days, feeling like you have joined the circus, but you are only juggling between responsibilities. Your wife is complaining that your one-year-old is hoping for some family time while you are stuck on your laptop doing all sorts of “online” stuff. So, you simply have to ask yourself this question: How much is enough money online? I am asking this for a friend.
This stuff is for us who don’t like asking for permission from the boss. But if you are one who likes talking much at work and fancy the 9-to-5 routine, the online streets are not for you. The game ends once you earn your first $20 online. You will end up spending secret moments searching “how to earn passive income,” looking for ways to earn while sleeping.
Spoilt of Choice?
Congratulations! Now you have started an online business. But your peers are now suggesting all software platforms. These platforms love asking for subscription fees “silently.” Every app seems to be calling your name as your wallet cries quietly.
Hack: Stick to a few tools and perfect them. In your kitchen, when you use fewer ingredients, you end up nailing the recipe. You get it? Of course, yes.
False Experts
Avoid the false prophets. Everyone online will claim to be a genius money-mining machine. Be sure of the quality, and remember that cheap is expensive.
Learning and unlearning
If you ever win in the game of online earning, never for a moment think that you are sorted for life. Sometimes you have to shake off what worked for you before. You will always have to begin and begin and viginn. Yes, many times. This is where the magic lies.
Complexity of finding a niche
Finding a niche is as hard as searching Netflix for a show. As soon as you think you have nailed it, you get a’ better’ topic and then switch.
Spoiler: There is no perfect niche. Even perfected stupity pays.
You cannot conquer the online streets in 30 days. Sometimes it takes 5 years to win significantly. It is like a marathon runner who trains the whole year, from January, only to run one race in December. But it is worth the effort.
Haters
You will be trolled online, but that is a recipe for success. Block them, mute them, and press on.
Don’t Plan
Just begin. Don’t hire someone to draw a roadmap for you. You just figure it out as you go. Along the way, you will see many step-by-step guides, but you got to sieve. Fail. Try again. Success online is not for everyone.
My Final Thought?
Making money online is not a glamor. It is frustrating with a lot of mess. However, it is still one of the best ventures. Be sure to approach it with a realistic mindset and an open mind. You may just be the one on the beach with dollars raining over you, sipping a glass of wine in Miami.
